The Aston Martin Residences are branded residential buildings located in Jumeirah Lake Towers, Parcel K. Based on the famous car and automobile company, the design of the buildings take their cue from the elegant, sleek, and yet sophisticated look of the Aston Martin cars as well as tier logo. We looked at the transformation of the logo and the car over time to see what were consistent features that remained that we could incorporate into the look of the building. We also looked at contemporary design elements of the cars from the exterior surface for performance to the comfort of the leather interiors with beautiful stitching that pulls the entire experience together. The detail design of the building expresses the Aston Martin brand at all levels of experience. The arrangement, however was a rotation of one building from the other so as not to have the same elevations facing one direction, to provide a dynamic legibility of the buildings.
